Part I of a three-part series on stroke/brain injury recovery, this webinar will focus on simplifying the brain and neuroplasticity as well as provide simple-to-use clinical treatment options that drive cortical change in survivors.
Note that Part II (Neuroplasticity Rules II: Sensation Recovery and Optimal Timing of Treatments) will be presented live in January, 2022 and Part III (Neuroplasticity Rules III: Modified Constraint Induced Therapy for the UE and LE) will be presented live in February, 2022. All 3 parts will also be available on-demand after the live webinar dates.
At the end of this course, the participant will be able to:
- Summarize the theory and evidence supporting cortical plasticity as a substrate for post brain injury recovery.
- Describe five easy-to-use clinical neuroplasticity-driving recovery options
- Recognize how to integrate mirror neurons to leverage patients’ brain plasticity for recovery
