Introduction to Performing Enhancing Drugs (PEDs) & Supplements: What does the Evidence Say?
Course Description
Performing enhancing drugs & supplements are no longer geared just towards elite athletes. Today these agents are marketed to the young and old with promises of improving and/or extending performance. So are these drugs and supplements the “fountain of youth” for the elderly population. Are promises of improved muscle strength and endurance in the athlete true? And if they are true, what are the potential consequences? In this course we will answer these questions and others as we explore what the evidence says.
