Katina Lawdis

OTD, ALM

Katina Lawdis earned her doctorate in occupational therapy from Chatham University in 2016 and is currently practicing in Massachusetts. She has been practicing occupational therapy since 1993, focusing on pediatrics and school-based therapy her entire career. In 2002 Ms. Lawdis took over a private occupational therapy practice that is committed to providing children and families with cutting-edge treatment to empower each child to maximize his/her potential.

Ms. Lawdis holds many certifications including, EMPOWER, TEACH, and is trained in ABA, verbal behavior, Floortime, and facilitated communication.

A dynamic lecturer, Ms. Lawdis lectures extensively to audiences of teachers, parents, therapists at universities, schools, pre-schools and in other community forums. Ms. Lawdis values being an integral part of the child’s team and collaborating with parents, teachers and others significant in the child’s life. Always young at heart, she will never be too old to play on the floor and help the children she works with discover the joy of experiencing success.
