Course Description
This course will address the common types of medical errors and their root causes. It will review health care ethics and present case studies for real life examples. This course will also discuss prevention strategies and review the specific Florida guidelines and resources.
Course Objectives
At the end of this course, the participant will be able to:
- Define the common types of medical errors and root causes
- Identify situations which may increase the prevalence of medical errors
- Discuss strategies to prevent medical errors
