Course Description
Course participants will learn how to support the medical necessity of Neuromuscular Reeducation, as defined by Medicare and the American Medical Association. The course will review the definition of the Neuromuscular Reeducation and cover diagnostic coding, testing, treatment, and documentation to support the necessity of this intervention.
Course Objectives
At the end of this course, the participant will be able to:
- Define Neuromuscular Reeducation
- Identify testing options to determine need for Neuromuscular Reeducation
- Utilize appropriate treatment strategies that are evidence-based to support skill of Neuromuscular Reeducation
- Document each component of evaluations/progress notes/daily notes to demonstrate skilled nature of Neuromuscular Reeducation application
