Course Description
Pain is the primary reason why patients seek medical care. Pain science is a rapidly emerging and widely faceted field including many basic science and health related professions. Pain Science Concepts for the Rehab Provider aims to bring the complexity of pain neuroscience to clinicians. This course introduces two of the main components of pain science, neuroscience and the biopsychosocial model of pain, in a format that helps clinicians understand and utilize this knowledge to help treat their patients.
