Rehabbing the Athletes Knee: Current Concepts in ACL Rehab – SOLD OUT
Course Description
This webinar is designed for physical therapists, physical therapy assistants, and athletic trainers. Method of instruction will include written materials and demonstrative videos. After completion of this webinar, the participant will be competent in knee anatomy, operative choices for ACL reconstruction and rehabilitation protocol for ACL reconstruction. Participant will also learn injury prevention techniques, performance enhancement, closed kinetic chain and balance/proprioceptive exercises and return to sport testing. After successful completion of this webinar, the clinician will be proficient in successfully rehabilitating an athlete who just underwent ACL reconstruction surgery. This course is relevant to any therapist or trainer who assists in the rehabilitation of an ACL injury.
Course Objectives
At the end of this course, the participant will be able to:
- Identify anatomy of the knee.
- List operative choices for ACL reconstruction.
- Understand a rehabilitation protocol for ACL reconstruction.
- Become familiar with injury prevention techniques, performance enhancement, closed
kinetic chain and balance/proprioception exercises and return to sport testing.
