Rotator Cuff Dysfunction: Surgical Intervention and Postoperative Rehab
Course Description
This webinar is intended to provide a thorough overview of rotator cuff rehabilitation following rotator cuff repair. It will include indications for surgery, provide a surgical overview and offer clinicians a specific rehab protocol to implement with their patients. The presentation will include relevant research on outcomes and review appropriate return to play/activity guidelines and expectations. Method of instruction will include written materials and demonstrative videos.
Course Objectives
At the end of this course, the participant will be able to:
- Understand basic surgical intervention and considerations
- Recognize post-op precautions and contraindications
- Apply sound evidenced-based rehab strategies to ensure optimal outcomes
- Understand specific rehab protocol based on stages of healing and return to activity guidelines
