The Healing Art of Jin Shin Jyutsu® for Self-Care and Stress Reduction
This course will give an overview on the healing art of Jin Shin Jyutsu®, focusing on self-care and stress reduction for therapists. It will include a brief history of this ancient art, the locations and meanings of the 26 “safety energy locks” as well as important flow patterns and finger postures to learn for stress reduction, boosting the immune system, and muscle unloading. Pertinent resource materials will be made available for reference and deeper study.
At the end of this course, the participant will be able to:
- Explain the meaning of Jin Shin Jyutsu® to include the origin and brief history of the art
- Recognize the 26 “safety energy locks” and their meanings/locations
- Describe self-care hands-on flow patterns in the body and finger postures to alleviate stress and provide balance and harmony to the entire being
