Treatment of Common Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Injuries and Disorders
Course Description
This webinar is intended to provide an overview of common orthopedic foot and ankle injuries/disorders such as Achilles tendinitis & Achilles tendon rupture, ankle sprains & impingement, plantar fasciitis, fractures and overuse injuries. This course will also cover evidence-based rehabilitation guidelines, non-operative and postoperative rehab, as well as return to activity progressions. This webinar will be evidence-based, include case studies, videos and the opportunity for participant interaction to give the participant a full understanding of the topic.
Course Objectives
At the end of this course, the participant will be able to:
- Assess common orthopedic foot and ankle injuries/disorders
- Design evidence-based rehab programs
- Explain how to progress clients safely back to sport/activity.
- Summarize the use of dry needling, IASTM, mobilization and exercise interventions to achieve optimal outcomes.
